At Horsch & Miller, we make every effort to keep our prices affordable and reasonable realizing that our customers are contending with high fuel costs, rising insurance and power rates. We try to raise our prices only incrementally despite the fact that our business-operation costs have gone up as well, just the same as your household. Over the years, we have developed strong relationships with our customers which have allowed us to grow with repeat business and many referrals. We have upfront pricing and our customers know exactly what they’ll pay BEFORE the job has begun. There’s no need to “guess” what your price will be from us. We do not try to hide the overtime costs by making exaggerated claims such as “no overtime” or by up-selling you expensive upgrades. You as a customer have the choice to save money by scheduling your service call during our regular business hours.

Horsch & Miller will install plumbing products supplied by the customer and you can be assured it’s installed properly and up to code. Although we do need you to sign our waiver that warranties our installation but not the item you provided. What has happened is that large warehouse stores have been able to offer consumers highly discounted prices as they are able to take advantage of large-volume discounts that we cannot match. However, if the faucet they sold you turns out to be defective or causes it to flood your bathroom, they will simply replace the faucet. There is no compensation, for example, for flooding damage and you are responsible for labor costs. When our company supplies the materials, you not only receive expert workmanship but also peace of mind that if the product is defective, you will be covered for additional damages incurred.

Our showroom has many products on display, but if you are searching for just the right color or finish for your remodel project, your products can be specially ordered to suit your décor and taste. Unlike the warehouse stores, we have experienced showroom consultants who can assist you in choosing just the right items for your project. In addition to our own showroom, we also have access to our distributors’ showrooms for an even wider variety of products and expertise.

When you contact our office to schedule a service call, we take into account which technician will be best suited to complete your job. This is sometimes based upon the area of expertise of our individual technicians or we try to send the technician who is most familiar with your house or business. All of our technicians use fully-stocked trucks with a large inventory of repair or replacement parts for most jobs.

We can schedule a time that is convenient to your schedule and include a reasonable window time. If it’s an emergency situation such as no heat, no water or flooding, we give these jobs the highest priority and can usually be there the same day. We pride ourselves in providing 24-hour emergency service and our office is open weekdays from 7 to 5 pm and 8 am until noon on Saturdays.
